Overview

We are looking for a Senior to join the Private Credit finance team within one of the world’s most respected alternative investment platforms. Private credit is one of the most dynamic and rapidly expanding areas of the market, and this team sits at the center of a sophisticated global strategy investing across direct lending, structured credit, bespoke capital solutions, and other complex credit opportunities.

Internally, this is viewed as one of the strongest finance teams on the platform: highly technical, well-resourced, and closely connected to senior leadership. The role offers direct exposure to the Private Credit CFO, Fund Controller, and experienced finance leaders, with meaningful involvement across fund reporting, investor activity, fundraising, complex investment structures, and broader strategic finance needs.

This is not a narrow fund accounting seat. The Senior will build a deep understanding of how private credit funds are structured, financed, reported, and presented to investors while partnering with Investor Relations, Legal, Tax, Operations, auditors, and fund administrators. It is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing public accounting or asset management professional to move into a visible role supporting one of the most attractive strategies in private markets.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Fund reporting and accounting: Review quarterly and annual financial statements, NAVs, expenses, management fees, carried interest allocations, and other key fund deliverables.
  • Complex investment structures: Work through the accounting, tax, legal, and reporting implications of private credit investments and fund structures.
  • Investor and fundraising support: Review fund returns and investor materials while supporting LP inquiries, prospective investor requests, and fundraising diligence.
  • Capital activity and analysis: Review capital calls, distributions, balance sheets, income statements, fund activity, and investment performance.
  • Audit and provider oversight: Coordinate with external auditors, fund administrators, and other service providers throughout the year-end audit and reporting cycles.
  • Cross-functional initiatives: Partner with Finance, Investor Relations, Tax, Legal, and Operations on recurring responsibilities, special projects, and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience within public accounting, an investment adviser, alternative asset management, or another rigorous financial environment
  • Strong foundation in accounting, audit, financial reporting, fund finance, or alternative investments
  • Exposure to private credit, direct lending, fixed income, private funds, or complex investment structures preferred
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification a plus
