- Role Description This part-time remote Senior Financial Analyst role at SQUARE PIZZA CLUB involves providing data-driven financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions. The Senior Financial Analyst will prepare, analyze, and interpret financial reports, forecasts, and budgets, and partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate business performance and growth initiatives. Daily responsibilities include building financial models, reviewing financial statements, identifying trends and variances, and recommending actions to improve profitability and cash flow. The role also includes developing KPI dashboards, supporting month-end and quarter-end reporting cycles, and contributing to long-term financial planning and scenario analysis. This position requires proactive communication with leadership, clear documentation of findings, and continuous improvement of reporting processes and tools.
- Qualifications
- Strong Finance foundation, including solid knowledge of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, and the ability to interpret and explain results clearly.
- Demonstrated Financial Planning experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and building financial models to support decision-making.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, with proficiency in using spreadsheets and financial tools to analyze data, identify trends, and develop insights.
- Proficiency with Excel or similar tools; experience with BI or data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, part-time environment.
- Experience in multi-unit, retail, or food & beverage businesses is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
