About SplashBI:

SplashBI is a unique analytics platform with AI capabilities, providing conversational insights, unified reporting and analytics. We are a fast-growing, private, international SaaS company providing innovative cloud-based solutions to clients worldwide. With a strong presence in North America, Europe, and APAC, we are scaling rapidly and looking for an experienced team member to support our leadership team and growth.

  • Position Summary
  • We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and self-directed Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a trusted partner to the CFO. This role focuses on financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, functional spend analysis, cash flow reporting, pricing analysis, and contract renewals. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong business acumen, exceptional analytical capabilities, and the ambition to grow into a future finance leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting
  • Own monthly financial reporting, KPI reporting, variance analysis, and executive dashboards.
  • Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and scenario modeling.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts and liquidity analyses.
  • Perform detailed functional expense analysis and partner with department leaders on spending decisions.
  • Support pricing strategy, customer contract renewals, and profitability analysis.
  • Develop business cases, ROI models, and strategic analyses for executive decision-making.
  • Improve reporting automation, planning processes, and overall finance operations.
  • Eventually own Annual Operating Plan and Budgeting process, including timelines, templates, and consolidated reviews.
  • Support Sales and Client Success teams on pricing strategy, commercial terms, and contract order forms for contract renewals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline. MBA a strong plus.
  • 3–7 years of FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or financial analysis experience.
  • Strong background in SaaS or technology companies; experience in international operations.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) and financial reporting tools.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Self-starter mentality with demonstrated ownership and accountability.
  • Why This Role Is Unique
  • This is not a traditional reporting-focused analyst role. You will work directly with the CFO and gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, cash management, pricing decisions, contract renewals, executive reporting, and strategic finance initiatives across the organization.
  • Career Growth Opportunity
  • This role is designed for a high-potential finance professional seeking accelerated career growth. Successful candidates will have opportunities to progress from Senior Financial Analyst to Finance Manager, Director of Finance, and broader finance leadership roles as responsibilities expand.
  • What Success Looks Like
  • Within 12–18 months, the successful candidate will become a trusted advisor to the CFO, own significant portions of planning and reporting processes, provide actionable insights on spending and cash flow, support pricing and renewal decisions, and demonstrate readiness for future finance leadership responsibilities.
