- We are seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to play a key role in a global finance function, supporting consolidated financial reporting, technical accounting, and management reporting across a diverse international business environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with multi-entity, multi-currency operations while contributing to process improvements and financial reporting excellence.
- About the Role
- As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, you will support the preparation of consolidated financial statements, oversee aspects of the global consolidation process, and provide meaningful financial analysis to leadership teams. The role combines technical accounting expertise with analytical skills and requires collaboration across finance, FP&A, auditors, and international stakeholders.
- Key Responsibilities
- Consolidations
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation activities across multiple legal entities, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation adjustments.
- Maintain and reconcile consolidation and reporting systems to ensure financial data accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of consolidation accounting policies and procedures.
- Manage and govern the global chart of accounts, including account maintenance, cost center updates, and change management activities.
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare consolidated financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and statements of equity in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Support the preparation of financial statement disclosures and related supporting schedules.
- Assist with statutory financial reporting requirements for international entities and coordinate with local finance teams where applicable.
- Collaborate with external auditors during interim reviews and annual audits by preparing requested documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Management Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and distribute monthly management reporting packages for senior leadership.
- Perform variance and trend analyses, including comparisons to prior periods, budgets, and forecasts.
- Partner with FP&A teams to ensure alignment between management reporting and underlying financial records.
- Develop and enhance reporting templates to improve efficiency, accuracy, and clarity of financial reporting deliverables.
- Process Improvement & Controls
- Prepare and post consolidation journal entries with appropriate documentation and supporting evidence.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline financial close and reporting processes.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of internal controls related to financial reporting and consolidation activities.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 5โ7 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
- Strong knowledge of consolidation accounting principles, foreign currency translation, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience supporting consolidated financial reporting within a multinational organization.
- Understanding of international statutory reporting requirements and non-local accounting frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, and large-scale data analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Professional accounting certification (CPA or equivalent) or progress toward certification.
- Public accounting experience with a major or regional accounting firm, combined with industry experience.
- Exposure to multi-currency reporting environments and international business operations.
- Familiarity with IFRS or other international accounting standards and local statutory reporting frameworks.
