Role Description The Senior Financial Analyst role is a part-time, remote position responsible for delivering high-quality financial insights to support strategic decision-making for PT Gayo Mineral Resources. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and analyzing financial reports, developing and monitoring financial plans and budgets, and interpreting financial statements to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to provide scenario analysis, forecasting, and performance metrics related to mining operations and investment initiatives. The role also involves enhancing financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards, and presenting clear, data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Finance and Financial Planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret complex data sets, perform variance analysis, and support strategic decisions.
Candidates should possess experience with Financial Statements, including preparation, review, and interpretation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Reporting, including management reporting, performance dashboards, and adherence to relevant accounting standards.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is an advantage.
Proficiency in spreadsheet and financial modeling tools, and familiarity with financial or ERP systems.
Strong communication skills, ability to present complex financial information clearly, and collaborate effectively with remote and on-site teams.
Experience in mining, natural resources, or capital-intensive industries is beneficial, along with an understanding of Indonesian regulatory and business environment.
