• On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Financial Analyst - Job Description:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will contribute to bank’s consolidated financial accounting close cycle and statutory reporting process. This role involves accounting and reporting activities for non-trading foreign currency exposures and related hedging strategies.

Senior Financial Analyst - Responsibilities:

• • Analyze financial results and prepare consolidation accounting adjustments
• • Resolve intercompany transaction breaks and validate foreign exchange revaluations
• • Collaborate across teams to ensure the integrity of financial records
• • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department

Senior Financial Analyst - Mandatory Skills:

• • 4+ years of financial accounting experience, including month-end close and financial analysis
• • Strong expertise in foreign exchange accounting and intercompany accounting/eliminations
• • Experience with financial consolidation and reporting in complex organizational structures
• • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• • CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification
• • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables
• • Experience with data analysis

Senior Financial Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• • Statutory reporting experience
• • Experience with SAP General Ledger

Senior Financial Analyst – Assignment Length:

This is a 6-month contract position.
