Senior Financial Analyst, OPEX

StevenDouglas has partnered with a global, publicly traded materials science and manufacturing leader in their search for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join their Finance team, supporting global OPEX management for a major business segment.

This segment has evolved from a traditional manufacturer into a comprehensive provider of industry-leading solutions across the broader communications industry — spanning both carrier network infrastructure (video, data, and voice communications) and enterprise network solutions for businesses, governments, and individual use. It's a great time to join a team at the center of that transformation.

We're looking for someone who goes beyond traditional finance to bring a digital-first mindset to OPEX management.

What you'll do:

• Own monthly OPEX variance analysis and forecasting vs. budget
• Drive month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Support annual budgeting and financial modeling
• Monitor headcount/labor cost trends and capital spend
• Partner directly with cross-functional business leaders
• Lead process improvement and digital finance initiatives, with room to bring AI and automation into everyday reporting

What you bring:

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Strong grasp of financial/management accounting and controls
• Sharp analytical skills — able to turn complex data into executive-ready insights
• Proficiency with Excel/Office, SAP, Power BI, Power Query (Databricks a plus)
