Senior Financial Analyst - Onsite

Alliance Resource Group is partnered with a growing, private equity-backed services company in Irvine that is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys FP&A, operations finance, and building better reporting in a multi-location business. The company is scaling across legacy branches, greenfield locations, and acquired businesses, and the finance team is building the reporting and analytics infrastructure to support that growth.

• What You’ll Do
• Support budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Analyze P&L performance by branch, region, location, and business type.
• Help leadership understand revenue, gross margin, labor, headcount, and operating trends.
• Build KPI dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reporting packages.
• Partner with operations leaders to understand the story behind the numbers.
• Support post-acquisition performance reporting and acquired-location visibility.
• Improve reporting workflows using Excel, Power BI, and other tools.

• Who We’re Looking For
• 3–6+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or operations finance experience.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large or imperfect data sets.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, KPI reporting, and P&L analysis.
• Multi-location, branch-based, field services, industrial services, distribution, or PE-backed experience is a plus.
• Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or automation experience is helpful.
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable building processes from scratch.
