  • 📍 Chicagoland Area | Hybrid We're partnered with a publicly traded industrial organization seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to join its corporate finance team. This role offers significant visibility to executive leadership and an opportunity to support strategic planning, forecasting, management reporting, and capital-related analyses across a complex operating environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an FP&A professional looking to broaden their scope, gain exposure to senior leadership, and play a key role in business decision support within a collaborative corporate finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities across multiple corporate functions.
  • Prepare management reporting packages, performance analyses, and executive-level presentations.
  • Analyze operating results, identify key trends, and provide actionable recommendations to business leaders.
  • Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to improve financial visibility and decision-making.
  • Assist with capital planning, investment analysis, and resource allocation initiatives.
  • Support strategic projects focused on business performance, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts related to forecasting, reporting, and financial processes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and planning tools used by leadership teams.
  • Participate in ad hoc analysis supporting executive and board-level decision making.

What They're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical experience.
  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into meaningful business insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with enterprise planning/reporting systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
