Senior Financial Operations Analyst - CONTRACT

• Position Overview
• This senior-level position supports the Financial Operations team and provides financial analysis, project accounting guidance, and strategic insight across the Company, Global Practices, Regions, and Business Lines. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with deep experience in financial reporting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and project-level financial management.

• Project timeline: 3-6 months

• Key Responsibilities
• Analyze financial data and key performance indicators across the Company, Global Practices, Regions, and Business Lines to provide meaningful insights to leadership.
• Serve as the primary financial liaison for project teams, supporting revenue recognition, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, billing, project costing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Partner with project teams to evaluate revenue recognition, including contract review, interpretation of financial implications, and application of construction and engineering accounting standards.
• Analyze project cost reports and assess financial risks, contingencies, warranties, and other factors that may affect project performance.
• Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations for project teams and leadership.
• Support accurate, timely financial reporting while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail and client service.

• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least eight years of relevant private-industry experience. Public accounting experience may be credited at 1.5 years for each year of experience.
• CPA or MBA may provide one additional year of experience credit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with strong client service skills.

• Preferred Background
• Experience supporting construction, engineering, professional services, or other project-based environments.
• Knowledge of project accounting, contract interpretation, revenue recognition, and financial risk analysis.
• CPA, MBA, or public accounting experience.
