- Senior Financial Analyst
- We are conducting a confidential search for a Senior Financial Analyst on behalf of a high-growth, Private Equity-backed manufacturing leader with multiple business units.
- This critical role serves as the central analytical engine for the Finance department and its subsidiary companies. The ideal candidate will transform complex operational plant data into strategic insights, build dynamic KPI dashboards, and own the preparation of high-impact presentations for executive management and the Board of Directors. This role operates in a fast-paced environment and offers frequent exposure to senior leadership and key business stakeholders.
- Board & Executive Reporting
- Serve as the primary point of contact and organizer for executive management and Board of Directors presentations.
- Synthesize complex data sets into highly polished, accurate, and narrative-driven Board Decks.
- Manufacturing Analytics & Cost Control
- Analyze critical manufacturing metrics including materials usage, operational variances, and commodity pricing impacts.
- Identify operational efficiency trends, cost-saving opportunities, and supply chain constraints.
- KPI & Dashboard Management
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable operational KPI dashboards to evaluate plant performance.
- Provide routine analysis of business trends to give management visibility into day-to-day performance.
- FP&A, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Measure, analyze, and explain variance results compared to defined reporting periods (Actuals vs. Budget vs. Forecast).
- Serve as an integral partner in the design and execution of the annual budget and periodic forecasting cycles.
- Collaborate closely with plant managers, operational leaders, and executive stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
- Experience: 3–6+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or corporate accounting.
- Industry Focus: Must have direct finance experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Technical Mastery: Proven track record of building automated KPI dashboards, complex financial models, and operational trackers.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; absolute comfort distilling data and presenting to C-suite and Board-level executives.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
