  • Position Summary
  • A leading professional services organization is seeking an experienced finance professional to support financial analysis, planning, reporting, and internal controls. This position will work closely with senior finance leadership and play a key role in month-end and year-end close, budgeting, financial reporting, banking operations, audits, and process improvement.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review monthly and year-end financial reports, journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses.
  • Analyze cash accounts, bank activity, and balance sheet accounts across multiple offices and currencies.
  • Coordinate the annual financial audit and serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors.
  • Lead and coordinate month-end financial review meetings and reporting packages.
  • Support the annual budgeting process, working with department leaders and senior management to develop and finalize budgets.
  • Prepare and distribute financial reports and analysis to senior management.
  • Monitor banking operations, cash management, wire activity, and bank reconciliations.
  • Oversee escrow transactions and related reconciliations and adjustments.
  • Prepare expense allocations, insurance-related financial information, and other recurring financial schedules.
  • Support financial systems, business intelligence reporting, Excel-based reporting tools, and process improvements.
  • Assist with special projects, financial analysis, and ad hoc reporting as requested by senior management.
  • Review and approve bank reconciliations and ensure appropriate internal controls are maintained.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; advanced degree or professional designation preferred.
  • 4–7 years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros.
  • Experience with financial modeling and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with Elite 3E is preferred; SQL and AI tools such as Copilot are a plus.
  • Knowledge of modified cash-basis accounting is preferred.
  • Schedule: Hybrid – minimum of 3 days per week in the New York office
  • Target Salary: $120,000–$150,000
