- Compensation Range: $75,000 - $95,000
- Emergency Physicians Professional Association (EPPA) was founded in 1969 and is owned and governed by its participating physicians. We take pride in our culture of mutual respect and camaraderie. Our physician group teams more than 300 board-certified emergency physicians and advanced practice clinicians (APCs), including physician assistants and nurse practitioners, to provide expert emergency care efficiently and effectively. Our providers staff hospital emergency departments across the Twin Cities, St. Cloud, and rural Minnesota. We also own and staff our four Twin Cities Metro Urgency Room locations.
The Senior Financial Analyst is tasked with supporting the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions of EPPA. This role is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing forecasts and budgets, monitoring operational performance, and providing insights to support the business. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with an understanding of healthcare finance, reimbursement models, and regulatory requirements.
- Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field
- 2+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably within healthcare
- Strong financial modeling and data analysis
- Background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, feasibility studies and data analysis
- Knowledge of revenue cycle and reimbursement methodologies, including Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payers
- Critical thinking, attention to detail, system analysis, time management, data interpretation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint

It develops and maintains financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools; conducts fee and reimbursement analyses across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers; and ensures the accuracy and usability of financial data sources. The position also supports the annual budgeting process, synthesizes complex data into clear business insights, and contributes to continuous improvement of financial systems and processes. The ideal candidate brings strong critical thinking, data interpretation skills, and a solid foundation in healthcare reimbursement methodologies.
