• What You’ll Do:
• Record and maintain accurate accounting entries in accordance with established accounting standards, policies, and internal controls
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions while monitoring invoicing, collections, and payment schedules
• Perform bank, balance sheet, supplier, and customer account reconciliations while researching and resolving discrepancies
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including account analysis and preparation of supporting documentation
• Assist with financial statement preparation, management reporting, budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial planning activities
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and financial institutions while supporting tax filings and statutory reporting requirements
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure appropriate documentation is available to support accounting activities and compliance requirements
• Collaborate across departments to ensure the accuracy of financial information and provide accounting support for ongoing business operations
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to help leadership understand performance and make informed business decisions
• What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong general accounting experience including journal entries, account reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
• Experience supporting month-end and year-end close processes
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements
• Public accounting experience is preferred
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and proactively identify and resolve accounting issues
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
