- About the Opportunity
- Perform detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis on financial, operational, and transactional data to support business objectives and develop practical recommendations;
- Perform reconciliations across subledgers and general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve variances in a timely manner;
- Participate in period-end activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and financial control assessments supporting overall financial integrity;
- Support day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including invoice processing, payment execution, billing, collections, and cash application, consistent with standard financial processes such as invoice validation and payment management;
- Execute data entry, validation, and maintenance of vendor and customer master data, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records;
- Troubleshoot system or interface issues, resolve escalations, and support ongoing operational continuity across AP and AR functions;
- Contribute to system enhancements, automation initiatives, and implementation of new financial interfaces, including development of test scripts, execution of testing, and documentation of controls and processes;
- Research and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen controls;
- Provide guidance and support to team members on financial processes, tools, policies, and procedures to improve operational effectiveness; and
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues, support business requirements, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- About You
- Accounting designation completed or in progress is an asset but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of financial operations, including invoicing, payments, collections, and reconciliation processes;
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger) and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools;
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify issues, and provide actionable recommendations;
- Experience supporting Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable processes, including transaction processing, reconciliations, and financial analysis;
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, controls, and risk mitigation;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs; and
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
