Senior Finance Analyst

2. About the Opportunity:

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in driving financial excellence within the organization’s commercial real estate platform. This position supports key business decisions through advanced financial modeling, strategic analysis, and collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. The role impacts investment strategies, operational efficiency, and client solutions, contributing directly to the organization’s market position.

3. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for real estate investments, acquisitions, and portfolio analysis
• Prepare financial reports, variance analyses, and executive dashboards for strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with operations and sourcing teams to analyze performance and identify optimization opportunities
• Lead financial close processes including budget vs actual analysis and forecasting updates
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis for client presentations and strategic initiatives
• Contribute to process improvements enhancing financial operations’ efficiency and accuracy

4. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Six years of progressive financial analysis experience
• Advanced Excel skills including complex modeling and experience with financial software (E-1, Bottomline, Peoplesoft)
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize complex data
• Excellent communication skills, including presenting to senior executives
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills managing multiple projects
• Experience promoting AI and automation to improve processes
• Leadership in process development, governance, and continuous improvement
• Ability to manage teams and drive accountability across onshore and offshore groups
• Strategic thinking and decision-making skills for complex operational and reporting needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA, CPA, CFA, or relevant certification
• Experience in commercial real estate or investment management
• Proficiency with analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles related to real estate
• Experience with debt and equity financing structures
• Familiarity with property management and lease administration
• Project management skills leading cross-functional initiatives

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Estimated salary range: 85,000 to 110,000 USD per year
• Final compensation will depend on candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal factors.
