Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Detection and Response Analyst to join a dynamic cybersecurity team supporting regional security operations. The role involves maintaining 24x7 monitoring, threat analysis, incident triage, and contributing to the overall security posture of a growing global organization. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Security Operations monitoring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience with security tools such as Sentinel, Splunk, ATP, Symantec End Point, TrendMicro Antivirus, McAfee Web Gateway, Checkpoint Firewalls, Bluecoat, Sourcefire, Active Directory, or equivalent assets
  • Strong understanding of network monitoring, exploitation techniques, and threat landscape
  • Knowledge of risk assessment tools, attack vectors, and web application security (SQL injection, cross-site scripting, etc.)
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as GCIA, GCFA, GCIH, CASP are a plus
  • Automation experience with tools like Tines is highly valued
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

  • Act as escalation point for security incidents; provide feedback and recommendations to improve monitoring capabilities
  • Lead and mentor incident detection team members, ensuring high-quality incident response
  • Triage and analyze security incidents using cyber threat intelligence, intrusion detection systems, and other boundary devices
  • Maintain understanding of evolving cyber threats including malware, phishing, DDoS, and physical security threats
  • Support 24x7 coverage; participate in on-call rotations
  • Contribute to agentic SOC development by providing technical feedback and tuning security tools
  • Conduct threat hunting based on internal and external intelligence
  • Improve operational efficiency, create detailed reports, and develop documentation and playbooks
  • Support internal and customer service requests related to security incidents and threats
  • Assist in containment, remediation, and coordination during security incidents
