Overview
- We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven solutions that transform IT Service Management (ITSM), application support, and enterprise operations. This individual will build intelligent platforms, machine learning models, and Generative AI solutions that automate ticketing processes, improve service desk efficiency, reduce incident resolution times, and drive operational excellence.
- This is a highly autonomous role for someone who can operate without a predefined roadmap. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of entering complex organizations, identifying operational challenges, gathering requirements from stakeholders, and independently delivering AI-powered automation solutions from concept through production.
- You will collaborate with executives, business stakeholders, operations teams, and technical leadership to uncover opportunities where AI and machine learning can create measurable business value while improving customer and employee experiences.
- Key Responsibilities
- Partner directly with executives, investors, stakeholders, and business leaders to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and operational improvements.
- Evaluate business processes, service desk operations, support workflows, and ticketing systems to uncover inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
- Independently define roadmaps, gather requirements, develop business cases, and execute AI initiatives from ideation through deployment.
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models that improve incident management, ticket routing, issue prioritization, workflow automation, and service desk performance.
- Develop predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions for incident prevention, root cause analysis, workload forecasting, and operational optimization.
- Build AI-powered copilots, intelligent chat assistants, recommendation engines, and knowledge management solutions using LLMs and Generative AI technologies.
- Apply NLP and machine learning techniques to analyze ticket data, support documentation, call transcripts, system logs, and operational datasets.
- Leverage OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, and other AI platforms to accelerate development and create intelligent automation tools.
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines, feature engineering frameworks, and model deployment architectures.
- Integrate machine learning models into production environments, monitoring platforms, service desk tools, and enterprise applications.
- Create dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks that measure business impact, operational efficiency, and AI model performance.
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies and drive innovation initiatives across the organization.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, AI Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience designing and deploying enterprise AI platforms and machine learning solutions that automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated success partnering with executives, stakeholders, investors, and business leaders to define and implement AI strategies and solutions.
- Experience entering organizations without established AI roadmaps, assessing current-state operations, identifying opportunities, and independently delivering automation initiatives.
- Strong expertise in Python and SQL for data analysis, machine learning development, and production engineering.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks including Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, or similar technologies.
- Experience building and deploying predictive analytics, anomaly detection, classification, recommendation, and forecasting models.
- Strong experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and AI agent frameworks.
- Experience developing AI solutions that leverage OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, or other modern AI platforms.
- Experience deploying machine learning solutions into production environments and managing the full model lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), APIs, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience working with service desk platforms, ticketing systems, IT operations, application support, or workflow automation environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused outcomes.
