About the Role
Client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist with experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, and AI-driven business solutions. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end data science initiatives, drive strategic decision-making through advanced analytics, and partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, deployment, and monitoring of machine learning and predictive analytics solutions.
Translate complex business problems into scalable data science solutions.
Build and optimize statistical, machine learning, and deep learning models for business applications.
Develop forecasting, recommendation, classification, segmentation, and optimization models.
Collaborate with business leaders, product teams, and engineering teams to identify data-driven opportunities.
Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analytics professionals.
Present analytical findings and recommendations to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
Drive innovation by evaluating emerging AI/ML technologies and industry best practices.
Ensure model governance, explainability, scalability, and compliance with organizational standards.
Partner with Data Engineering teams to build robust data pipelines and production-grade solutions.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
15+ years overall experience , experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence.
Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
Deep understanding of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, experimentation, and hypothesis testing.
Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience deploying and monitoring ML models in production environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proven experience leading large-scale analytics or AI transformation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
PhD in a quantitative discipline.
Experience in Retail, CPG, Supply Chain, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, or Technology domains.
Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, Agentic AI, and MLOps frameworks.
Knowledge of Databricks, Spark, Snowflake, and modern data platforms.
Experience leading globally distributed teams.
