Role Description The Senior Data Scientist will play a key role in shaping data-driven strategy and insights for Live | Grow | Flow’s wellness content and user experience. This part-time remote role involves designing and implementing analytical models to understand user behavior, content performance, and engagement trends. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and cleaning data from multiple sources, building predictive and descriptive models, and translating findings into actionable recommendations for product, content, and marketing teams. The Senior Data Scientist will develop dashboards and reporting frameworks, collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics and experiments, and support A/B testing and optimization efforts. This role also contributes to long-term data strategy, including the selection of tools, best practices, and data governance standards.
Qualifications
Strong skills in statistical analysis and machine learning, including experience with predictive modeling, clustering, and experimental design.
Proficiency with data tools such as Python or R, SQL, and common data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow or similar).
Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Background in data engineering practices, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and working with APIs or cloud-based data platforms.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytical findings into practical recommendations for product, content, or marketing teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Several years of experience in a data science or advanced analytics role; prior experience in wellness, consumer tech, or content platforms is a plus.
Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
