Senior Data Infrastructure & Compliance Engineer - US

Role Overview:

• We are looking for a Senior Data Infrastructure & Compliance Engineer to join our regional operations. You will be the primary technical custodian for our local database infrastructure and data privacy compliance. This role serves as a critical bridge between our regional operations and global engineering headquarters, ensuring database stability, performance optimization, and strict adherence to local data protection regulations (PDPA/GDPR/US State Privacy Laws).
• Key Responsibilities:
• 1. Infrastructure Management: Design, maintain, and optimize robust database systems (MySQL/PostgreSQL/NoSQL) to support high-traffic regional services.
• 2. Data Compliance: Lead the implementation of data lifecycle management, access control, and privacy audit protocols to ensure 100% compliance with local legal frameworks.
• 3. Global Coordination: Act as the key technical liaison for our global engineering team. Translate complex business requirements into localized technical solutions and provide hands-on support for cross-border data synchronization.
• 4. Incident Response: Manage regional technical incidents, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with both local stakeholders and HQ technical teams.

• 1. 5+ years of experience in database administration or infrastructure engineering.
• 2. Deep expertise in database performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security architecture.
• 3. Comprehensive knowledge of regional data privacy regulations.
• 4. Communication: Professional proficiency in English. Given the necessity of coordinating daily technical workflows with our HQ engineering teams, professional fluency in Mandarin is highly preferred for operational alignment.
• 5. Work Authorization: Must possess valid local work authorization.
