Role Overview:

• 10+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, and data warehousing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT.
• Experience working within Investment Banking, Private Equity, Banking, or Financial Services environments.
• Candidates should have practical experience applying AI and automation to data engineering or financial services use cases.
• Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and DBT.
• Build reliable data transformation workflows, data models, and data integration solutions.
• Work with large and complex financial datasets while ensuring data quality, security, and governance.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
• Optimize Snowflake queries, workloads, and data pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Develop automated data quality, reconciliation, monitoring, and validation processes.
• Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve data engineering processes and business operations.
• Evaluate and implement AI-enabled solutions that can reduce manual effort and improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Required Technical Skills
• 10+ years of Data Engineering / ETL experience.
• Strong Snowflake experience.
• Strong DBT experience, including data transformations and data modeling.
• Advanced SQL and strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Strong ETL/ELT development experience.
• Experience with data integration, data quality, and pipeline automation.
• Experience in Banking / Financial Services, preferably Investment Banking or Private Equity.
• Understanding of modern data engineering and cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on or practical exposure to AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, or intelligent automation.
