We're looking for a data-focused engineer with a strong operational mindset to support a global trading firm's Performance Team data platform. This role owns the reliability, accuracy, and efficiency of the data systems that underpin performance analysis and decision-making.
It's a production-facing position, working alongside the Performance team and aligned stakeholders to keep data workflows robust, observable, and efficient.

What you'll do
Take ownership of the day-to-day operational health of the Performance Team's data platform
Monitor and maintain ETLs and data pipelines for accuracy, timeliness, and stability
Build and maintain data quality checks, reporting, and alerting tailored to performance data
Diagnose and resolve data issues and pipeline failures, driving each to root cause
Own and troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues tied to performance data workflows
Track workloads and resource consumption, resolving imbalances and bottlenecks
Develop operational tooling, automation, and runbooks
Continuously tune pipelines and workloads to improve throughput and resource efficiency

What you bring
3+ years in software or data engineering with an operational/production focus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline strongly preferred
Strong Python skills, including hands-on work with PySpark and Pandas
Track record supporting production ETL or data processing systems
Comfort with Git-based workflows and CI/CD tooling (GitLab preferred)
Sharp analytical skills and a high bar for detail
Willingness to take ownership in an environment where performance and reliability are critical
