• Job Description
• We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to further instrument our patient engagement software platform. You will own the ETL pipeline, identify the metrics the company runs on, and automate reporting those metrics to the people who need them. As part of our agile team, you'll have opportunities to take ownership of projects and gain comprehensive exposure to healthcare technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data transformations in Python and SQL
• Fully own our ETL pipeline built on Apache Airflow (expansion, data modeling, testing, and incident response when it fails)
• Integrate and deploy existing models into production pipelines
• Evolve our data infrastructure as reporting needs move toward near real-time
• Build and maintain dashboards and self-serve reporting
• Identify new data products, feeds, and partnership opportunities as our data footprint grows
• Evolve our data architecture over time as our reporting and product needs grow more sophisticated
• Document and communicate analytics behavior to cross-functional teams

Senior Data Engineer Qualifications:

• Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, BI development, or an analyst role where you owned the pipeline.
• Experience writing production Python code.
• Experience with Apache Airflow.
• Strong SQL
• Experience with at least one BI tool
• Experience working with Git and performing code review

• Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Agile/Scrum
• Experience working under HIPAA / working with PHI
• Experience with cloud data warehouses
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM field
