Hiring: Senior Data Engineering Lead – Data Platform Modernization & SCM Data Foundation

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineering Lead to lead a strategic enterprise Data Foundation and Platform Modernization initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Databricks Lakehouse, Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Supply Chain Management (SCM) data platforms.

• Key Skills & Responsibilities
• • Lead the design and implementation of modern Databricks Lakehouse platforms
• • Drive migration from legacy data platforms to scalable cloud-native ecosystems
• • Architect and govern SCM Unified Data Models (UDM) across ingestion, transformation, semantic, and consumption layers
• • Strong experience with Bronze, Silver, Gold & Semantic layers using Medallion Architecture
• • Expertise in Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, DLT, Databricks SQL & PySpark
• • Define enterprise standards for data architecture, governance, quality, security, lineage, and metadata
• • Design scalable data models, data warehouses, and semantic layers
• • Lead large-scale enterprise data transformation and modernization programs
• • Manage and mentor globally distributed onsite/offshore engineering teams
• • Partner with business leaders, product owners, and senior technical stakeholders
• • Provide architectural leadership and communicate strategy, risks, and recommendations to executives

• Required Qualifications
• • 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Data Platform Modernization
• • Strong hands-on expertise with the Databricks ecosystem
• • Proven experience implementing enterprise-scale Databricks Lakehouse solutions
• • Strong understanding of Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Modeling & Data Warehousing
• • Deep knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, and Security
• • Experience designing and implementing Medallion Architecture
• • SCM domain and Unified Data Model experience is highly preferred
• • Strong consulting, client-facing, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• • Experience managing complex technology programs and distributed teams
