About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Lead / Senior Data Engineer to serve as a technical anchor for a modern data platform. This role combines hands-on data engineering with technical leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and production support.

What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, PySpark, AWS Glue, and Snowflake.
Build and manage workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow / AWS MWAA.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and identify project risks.
Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor data engineers.
Support production troubleshooting and resolution of critical data pipeline issues.
Work with project managers and engineering teams within JIRA and Agile/Scrum environments.
Contribute to data platform architecture, optimization, and long-term technical roadmaps.

Required Skills
10–15 years of overall data engineering experience.
Strong hands-on Python and PySpark experience for ETL/ELT development.
Hands-on AWS Glue experience.
Strong Apache Airflow / AWS MWAA experience.
Strong Snowflake experience, including SnowSQL and performance tuning.
Advanced SQL skills.
Experience with AWS S3 and IAM.
Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring developers, and conducting code reviews.
Strong production support and troubleshooting experience.
