• Role: Senior Data Architect / Data Modeler
• Location: Toronto, ON (2 days onsite- Hybrid)

Job Description:

Seeking a Senior Data Architect / Data Modeler with extensive experience in enterprise data architecture, data modeling, data warehousing, cloud data platforms, and business intelligence solutions. The candidate will be responsible for designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models, defining data architecture standards, developing enterprise data warehouse solutions, implementing data governance frameworks, and supporting cloud-based data platforms on Azure and AWS. The role requires strong stakeholder management skills, expertise in ETL/ELT solutions, data integration, data quality, metadata management, and experience delivering large-scale data transformation and analytics initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with business, technology, and analytics teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

• Skills: Data Warehouse~Informatica CDI (Cloud Data Integration)~Data Architecture and Modeling
• Enterprise Data Architecture and Data Modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, Star/Snowflake Schemas)
• Azure and AWS Data Platforms (Databricks, Synapse, Redshift, Data Factory, S3, Glue)
• Data Warehousing, SQL Development, ETL/ELT, Data Governance, and Data Quality Management

Preferred Skills:

• Databricks Unity Catalog, Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD implementation experience
• Power BI, IBM Cognos, and Enterprise Analytics Reporting solutions
• Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, or Public Sector domain experience

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Azure, AWS, TOGAF, DAMA, PMP, or Data Management certifications are considered an asset.
