• About the Role
• We are seeking an Senior Data Engineering Lead to drive a strategic Data Foundation and Platform Modernization initiative. This role will lead the design, build, and adoption of a modern Databricks-based data platform and establish a Unified Data Model (UDM) for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) domain, spanning from source systems through semantic consumption layers.

• Key Responsibilities
• Platform Modernization → Lead enterprise data platform migration to Databricks Lakehouse.
• Unified Data Model Design → Architect SCM UDM across source, bronze, silver, gold, and semantic layers.
• Governance & Quality → Establish governance, lineage, and reusable data assets.
• Team Leadership → Manage onsite and offshore teams, ensuring delivery excellence.
• Stakeholder Engagement → Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align outcomes.

• Required Expertise
• Deep knowledge of Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, DLT, Databricks SQL, and PySpark.
• Strong background in Enterprise Data Modeling and semantic layer design.
• Proven experience with Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Ability to establish data governance frameworks and ensure data quality.

• Preferred Qualifications
• 12+ years in data engineering, data platform modernization, or enterprise data architecture.
• Hands-on leadership in Databricks Lakehouse implementations.
• Experience in SCM domain data models and semantic consumption layers.
• Strong consulting and client-facing skills, with ability to lead transformation programs.
