About The Opportunity

The Senior Data Analyst opening at Smartly Technologies supports day-to-day work across managed IT, cloud services, cybersecurity, technical support, implementation, and client technology operations. In this position, you will lead advanced analysis, reporting, metric design, and data-quality work across business and operational datasets while working with the records, systems, and teams used by Smartly Technologies.

What You'll Work On

• Translate complex questions about support, implementation, service-management, and technical operations workflows into measurable analyses, reporting logic, and decision-ready outputs.
• Analyze support, system, service, project, and client data to identify trends, drivers, anomalies, and opportunities that require deeper investigation.
• Build and maintain dashboards, recurring reports, and analytical datasets with documented definitions.
• Review data quality, reconcile conflicting sources, and establish validation checks before results are published.
• Develop forecasts, segmentation, or scenario analyses and explain the implications to users, clients, engineers, and service teams.
• Guide analytical standards, documentation, and peer review for recurring metrics and high-impact reporting for Smartly Technologies.

Skills & Experience

• Several years of data-analysis, business-intelligence, or advanced reporting experience.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills plus practical SQL experience; BI or visualization-tool experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to structure ambiguous business questions and communicate analytical findings to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Strong written communication and the ability to document work clearly in a remote environment.
• Reliable internet access and a quiet, secure workspace suitable for handling business information in Smartly Technologies's remote-work environment.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment background check.
