About The Role

Data Analyst (L4) Apprenticeship Trainer

Location: Home Based

Your Role

As a Data Analytics trainer with QA, you will be at the forefront of data and technical delivery, working with subject matter experts to deliver cutting-edge Apprenticeship programs using the latest industry standard software. The ideal candidate will be passionate about all things data, and an inspiring and innovate manner.

Key Responsibilities

Teach key topics including:

  • Data collection, cleansing, and validation
  • Exploratory data analysis and statistical techniques
  • Data visualisation using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib
  • SQL and relational databases
  • Python for data analysis (pandas, NumPy, etc.)
  • Data governance, GDPR, and ethical principles
  • Use real-world examples to demonstrate data storytelling and the business impact of analytics.

Essential

Your Experience:

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field.
  • Building and manipulating database applications, both locally and in the cloud
  • Craft captivating learning experiences which demonstrate your design, development, and delivery of learning in Data.
  • Proficient in non-scripting ETL tools.
  • Proficient in Power Bi, Tableau, Qlik and Databricks.
  • Champion of data management best practice.
  • Data storytelling with PowerBI and Desktop (including DAX).
  • Engineering data in Azure.
  • Competent with Microsoft SQL databases (on-premises and within Azure).
  • Data wrangling wizard using languages like C#, R and Python.
  • Passion for lifelong learning and development as a profession.

Desirable

  • Experienced in training, mentoring, or teaching technical content to professionals or students.
  • 3+ years of experience in data systems or research.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
