Ideally this person can go onsite 1x/week in Boston, MA. Although, the client is also open to fully remote candidates.

• Desired Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics or related quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or business intelligence related role
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Power BI (Ideally Microsoft Fabric)
• Strong demonstrated ability to translate business needs into analytic solutions that create enterprise insights

Pluses:

• Experience with AI/ML Concepts and applying AI to analytics use cases
• Azure Date Services (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.)
• Python or R for Statistical Analysis
• Experience in healthcare, nonprofit or mission-driven environments

Day-to-day:

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join one of our nonprofit, healthcare improvement clients. This role will be a contract opportunity through the end of April 2027, with a chance for extensions.

In this role you will be responsible for transforming complex internal and external data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic decision‑making across the organization. This role combines deep technical expertise in Microsoft Power BI and Fabric with strong business acumen, partnering with leaders to support planning, prioritization, and impact measurement.

Responsibilities will include but not limit:

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and executive briefs using Power BI, including advanced DAX, data modeling, and semantic models.
• Analyze and synthesize data from multiple external and internal sources to produce cross-functional insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Apply data visualization best practices to deliver clear, accurate, and compelling visual storytelling for diverse audiences including senior leadership.
• Leverage AI and machine learning capabilities within the Microsoft ecosystem to enhance analytics, automate pattern detection, and generate forward-looking insights.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand data needs, define KPIs, and drive report adoption and data literacy.
• Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and traceability of all analytical outputs.
• Collaborate with data engineering to ensure data pipelines produce trusted, analysis-ready datasets.
• Stay current with industry trends in BI, analytics, and AI to continuously improve data processes, methodologies, and tools
• Pay: 40-50/hr
