Cybersecurity Analyst with 5+ years of experience, including at least 3+ years in a SOC environment
Strong experience in incident response, alert triage, threat detection, and alert tuning
Advanced hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) and Splunk Core
Expertise in writing complex SPL queries is required
Familiarity with email and endpoint security platforms such as Proofpoint TAP/TRAP and CrowdStrike Falcon
Comfortable working in shift-based environments
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Passionate about continuous learning and career growth in cybersecurity
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience with cloud security platforms such as Wiz, Zscaler, and Proofpoint Email Gateway
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, OSCP, or CySA+
Scripting experience in Python or PowerShell for automation and data enrichment
Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and LLMs to solve cybersecurity challenges
What You Will Do
Perform advanced SOC analysis, including alert triage, incident investigation, incident reporting, and threat hunting
Develop and maintain security detection content within Splunk Enterprise Security
Write and optimize SPL queries for threat detection and investigation
Work with ticketing and security orchestration platforms to investigate and remediate alerts
Continuously tune and improve detection rules to reduce false positives and enhance threat visibility
Manage and monitor security logs across relevant platforms
Automate repetitive SOC tasks and enrichment processes using Python, PowerShell, or other scripting tools
Collaborate with security and cross-functional teams to improve overall detection and response capabilities
