Senior Credit Analyst

The Senior Credit Analyst plays a significant role in assessing and monitoring client credit worthiness to reduce delinquency and/or nonpayment risk. Utilizing their expertise, process proficiency, tool skills, and experience, the Senior Credit Analyst can process complex reviews, resolve credit issues, mentor the team and be the primary stakeholders' contact for review inquiries. Working collaboratively with the Credit Manager, this position will aid in developing and evolving the role of Senior Credit Analyst.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs client credit reviews and works Snap tickets at a rate to ensure the items are processed timely
• Runs periodic reports and queries to ensure the integrity of the credit review process
• Serves as a resource to the team to answer review questions and expand their knowledge of the credit tools
• Acts as primary contact for resolving review issues and questions
• Continues to develop the ability to leverage, and link various research to gain more in-depth knowledge and a picture of the client's creditworthiness
• Works with the Credit Manager and other resources to evolve the current processes, improve credit tools, develop reporting and enhance monitoring
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related business degree preferred
• The qualified candidate will have a proven depth of relatable experience to perform the position's duties
• Strong customer service attitude and skill set
• Ability to think critically, develop solutions to issues, and see the "big picture"
• Demonstrate adeptness in a fast-paced, changing environment requiring prioritization, organizing, and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal skills enabling appropriate communications at all organizational levels
