About the Role:

Honda Development & Manufacturing of America is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist in Torrance, CA. Serving as an expert on commercial contracting and data privacy, you will review, redline, and negotiate high-complexity Master Agreements governing $6B+ in indirect enterprise spend.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Review, analyze, redline, and negotiate high-complexity commercial Master Agreements and SOWs.
• • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments on agreements involving personal data, IP, and data privacy.
• • Serve as business product owner for Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems (Ariba, Icertis, QuickBase).
• • Lead contract compliance audits, repository governance, and legacy agreement consolidations.
• • Train and advise internal business units and sourcing teams on contract terms and risk mitigation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Law, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• • 5+ years of procurement contracting, legal, or commercial negotiation experience.
• • Professional certification (CSP, CPM, CPSM) preferred.
• • Deep expertise in contract terms, data protection provisions, and risk evaluation.
• • Experience with CLM platforms (Icertis, Ariba, Adobe Sign) and enterprise ERP systems.
