Now Hiring: Senior Compensation Analyst (Contract)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst for a remote contract opportunity through the end of the year. This role requires availability to work Pacific Time hours. If the role goes permanent it will be Hybrid in Carlsbad, CA.
Compensation: Up to $61/hour
Position Overview
The Senior Compensation Analyst will serve as a key contributor in designing, analyzing, and delivering data-driven compensation programs across a global organization. This role combines strategic insight with technical expertise, focusing on market competitiveness, internal equity, and scalable compensation structures.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain salary structures, pay ranges, and incentive programs
Analyze complex compensation datasets to identify trends, gaps, and risks
Conduct market benchmarking and support compensation survey participation
Develop dashboards and reporting using Power BI and/or Tableau
Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to support compensation decisions
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within systems such as Workday
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
5+ years of compensation experience with a strong analytical focus
Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and Workday
Experience with compensation benchmarking, salary structures, and large datasets
Strong ability to translate data into actionable business insights
