• Position Title: Senior Business & Systems Analyst – HCM / Payroll
• Location Information Jefferson City, MO
• Position Responsibilities:
• As a Senior Business & Systems Analyst specializing in Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll, you will play a key role in supporting Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) efforts during a large-scale enterprise ERP implementation. Serving as an impartial evaluator, you will assess critical HCM and Payroll project components throughout the implementation lifecycle to ensure high-quality execution and organizational readiness.
• Review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and all solution documentation related to HCM and Payroll streams.
• Monitor and evaluate implementation progress and milestone achievements, identifying any deviations from project plans or expected outcomes.
• Assess the alignment of business processes and system functionality, offering recommendations for optimization or risk mitigation where necessary.
• Review the development and execution of testing strategies, including test plans, test cases, defect tracking, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Evaluate and verify organizational readiness for change, including the assessment of training, communications, and go-live preparedness.
• Attend and contribute to project workshops, system demonstrations, and governance meetings as an independent observer and evaluator.
• Document risks, issues, observations, and actionable recommendations; ensure findings are communicated clearly through comprehensive reporting mechanisms.
• Prepare executive-level reports and summaries to support project oversight and decision-making.
• Maintain effective collaboration with project and implementation teams, while ensuring the independence and objectivity required for IV&V.
• Lead and support Go/No-Go readiness assessments, providing expertise and impartial assessment of organizational and system preparedness.
• Essential Skills, Experience

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise supporting enterprise-level Human Capital Management or Payroll system implementations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex business processes and system functionalities.
• Demonstrated experience with ERP modernization initiatives and understanding of end-to-end implementation lifecycles.
• Advanced documentation, reporting, and communication skills, capable of delivering clear, concise, and objective project insights.
• Ability to review technical and functional project documentation, and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience participating in independent quality review, testing oversight, or IV&V engagements is highly valued.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally while maintaining an independent, objective perspective.
• Organizational awareness and the capacity to assess readiness for transition to new systems or processes within a complex stakeholder landscape.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience with one or more of the following key HCM domains: Payroll, Time & Labor, Benefits Administration, Talent Management, or Employee Self-Service.
• Preferred: Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud solutions and/or large public sector ERP implementations.
• Preferred: IV&V, Quality Assurance, or similar project oversight experience.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are a plus.
