Senior Business Intelligence Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join Adobe’s Digital Imaging Data Science Team in San Jose (onsite). This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, data models, and self‑service dashboards to support data‑driven decision‑making across product and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data models, warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Python.
• Build and manage BI dashboards (Power BI / Tableau / Looker) to track product usage and performance.
• Analyze large‑scale datasets to identify trends and provide actionable insights to Product, Marketing, and Growth teams.
• Automate and optimize data pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Maintain BI standards, documentation, and data governance artefacts.
• Improve BI platform performance, scalability, and adoption across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in large‑scale data and BI engineering
• Strong expertise in SQL (6+ years) and Python (6+ years)
• 6+ years experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
• Hands‑on experience with data warehousing and ETL tools (Airflow, MuleSoft, SnapLogic)
• Experience working in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Strong communication skills and Agile/Scrum experience
