- Position Overview:
- The Senior Business Analyst will support a product-driven delivery model and play a key role in defining, refining, and delivering business value. This role goes beyond traditional requirements gathering and focuses on creating clarity, driving alignment, and ensuring teams are working on the right priorities at the right time.
- The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complex information, and translates business needs into well-defined, testable features and requirements. This position partners closely with Product Owners, Workstream Leads, vendors, business stakeholders, and IT teams to transform product vision into actionable solutions.
- Required Education:
- • Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Preferred Certifications:
- • Certifications in Business Analysis, Agile, Scrum, Product Ownership, or related areas are preferred but not required
- Required Skills & Experience:
- • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Analysis, or a similar role
- • 5+ years of experience defining requirements, creating user stories, developing workflows, and establishing acceptance criteria
- • 5+ years of experience performing end-to-end analysis across workflows, data, systems, and business rules
- • 5+ years of experience with problem-solving, root cause analysis, and structuring ambiguous information
- • 3+ years of experience partnering with Product Owners on feature refinement and outcome definition
- • 3+ years of experience collaborating across workstreams including Development, Data, Testing, OCM, and Implementation
- • 3+ years of experience supporting testing, UAT, training readiness, and requirements traceability
- • 3+ years of experience with process mapping and workflow design

- Key Responsibilities:
- • Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand goals, user needs, and operational challenges
- • Translate business concepts into clear user stories, features, workflows, acceptance criteria, and business rules
- • Ensure requirements are complete, testable, and aligned with product goals and business outcomes
- • Identify and resolve requirement gaps before development and testing activities begin
- • Maintain clear and evolving documentation including requirements, process flows, acceptance criteria, and user-facing materials
- • Partner with Development, Testing, Data, OCM/Training, and Implementation teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding
- • Identify dependencies and cross-workstream impacts while supporting coordinated delivery efforts
- • Analyze complex business problems and provide structured, actionable recommendations
- • Perform end-to-end analysis across workflows, systems, and data to identify root causes and improvement opportunities
- • Support testing activities by ensuring requirements are covered and delivered functionality meets expectations
- • Support UAT planning, business tester coordination, and validation of acceptance criteria
- • Maintain requirements traceability from initial business needs through final solution delivery
- • Collaborate with vendor Business Analysts, delivery teams, and product specialists to ensure solution alignment
- • Partner with Product Owners to refine features, define value, and support backlog prioritization
- • Focus on user value, measurable outcomes, and business impact
- • Support iterative delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives
