Senior Business Analyst

We're working with a well-established Dallas-based nonprofit to find a Senior Business Intelligence Developer and Data Analyst to join their Information Technology team, reporting to the VP of Technology.

This role owns the organization's enterprise reporting build-out using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI — designing executive dashboards, defining KPIs, building semantic models and DAX/Power Query logic, and driving adoption of self-service analytics org-wide.

What you'll do:

• Partner with executive leadership to define KPIs and reporting priorities
• Design and build interactive Power BI dashboards and semantic models
• Own DAX, Power Query, and data modeling for enterprise reporting
• Help implement and grow a new Microsoft Fabric/Power BI environment

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field
• 5+ years in enterprise BI, with 3+ years hands-on in Power BI
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and dimensional/star schema experience
• Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders
• Nonprofit, healthcare, education, government, or human services experience a plus
