- Position Overview
- VDOT’s Asset Management Team is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support IT software and application projects. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in IT projects, strong analytical and communication skills, and hands-on experience translating business needs into clear technical requirements.
- The Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, testers, and technical teams to analyze existing processes and systems, gather and document requirements, support application enhancements and implementations, and assist with testing and user adoption.
- Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting IT/software/application projects.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders, technical teams, developers, testers, and project managers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work onsite 3 days per week at 1401 East Broad Street, Richmond, VA.
- Ability to attend and complete an in-person interview.
