Job Description:
Title: Senior Business Analyst - Credit Risk
Location: Toronto, ON (3 days/Week HYBRID)
Duration: Long term assignment
Key Responsibilities
Elicit, document, and validate business requirements from credit risk stakeholders across front and middle office
Facilitate working sessions, workshops, and stakeholder reviews with confidence and authority
Translate complex risk concepts into clear, concise functional specifications for technology delivery teams
Drive alignment across business and technology teams, escalating ambiguity early and decisively
Support UAT planning, coordination, and sign-off
Required Experience
10+ years as a Business Analyst, with at least 3–4 years in credit risk or a related finance domain
Strong understanding of credit risk concepts — exposure, limit management, counterparty risk, or risk reporting frameworks
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills — this is a must-have. The candidate must be able to present confidently to senior stakeholders, facilitate complex discussions, and produce documentation that is clear and business-ready
Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders in a large, matrixed financial institution
Proficiency with standard BA tools: process mapping, use cases, BRDs, user stories
