Skills and Responsibilities:

• Good to have skills include certifications such as CBAP or PMP, which can enhance a candidates qualifications.
• Experience with document composition platforms and data tools like SQL or Informatica is beneficia.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and tools for defect tracking can also be advantageous. Mentoring experience and knowledge of API testing tools are considered a plus.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies can further strengthen a candidates profile.
• Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, particularly in customer communications and document production.
• Proficiency in creating Business Requirements Documents and data mapping is essential.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently are also required.
• Familiarity with UML diagramming and API integration is necessary for effective communication with technical teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must for client interactions.
• Requirements & Solution Definition Lead requirements workshops, walkthroughs, and stakeholder sessions (business, technology, operations).
• Author BRDs covering scope, file layouts, householding, return streams, cost centre logic, indexing, notifications, and archival requirements.
• Translate runbooks, sample data/files, outputs, and legacy specifications into business rules.
• Perform source-to-target data mapping, documenting lineage, transformations, defaults, and exception handling.
• Analyze XML, JSON, XSD, JSON Schema, delimited, and fixed-width data structures to validate business rule support.
• Identify gaps/risks early, recommend mitigations, manage change control, and support solutioning/effort estimation across programs of varying complexity.
• Artifacts & Deliverables Own BRDs, including authoring, versioning, stakeholder alignment, and client sign-off.
