  • Optomi, in partnership with one of our clients, is seeking a Senior Application Analyst to support the development, integration, and lifecycle management of a portfolio of enterprise applications supporting critical business operations. This is a hands-on technical role combining C# application development, systems integration, data transformation/ETL, and production application support. The ideal candidate will bring strong C#/.NET development experience along with the ability to integrate applications across different technology stacks and database platforms. This position will initially have a heavier focus on development and will evolve into a broader mix of application management, integration, reporting, ETL/data work, and continued development.

Apply today if your background includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience developing, integrating, and supporting enterprise applications.
  • Strong hands-on C# development experience building, enhancing, troubleshooting, and supporting applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Entity Framework within .NET application environments.
  • Experience performing data integration across dissimilar applications, including systems using different technology stacks and/or database platforms.
  • Experience developing and supporting APIs, interfaces, ETL processes, and data workflows between enterprise applications.
  • Strong SQL experience for data retrieval, manipulation, transformation, troubleshooting, and application support.
  • Experience working across multiple database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with data migration, transformation, conversion, ETL, and large datasets. Data warehouse, data lake, and/or Databricks experience is a plus.
  • Technical experience beyond a purely Microsoft/.NET environment, with exposure to multiple application platforms, operating systems, databases, or integration technologies.
  • Experience supporting production applications through troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, enhancements, deployments, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Experience with application modernization, system migrations, and application lifecycle initiatives.
  • Healthcare application development, healthcare IT, clinical systems, or other healthcare technology experience is a plus.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and take ownership of unfamiliar applications and technical problems.
  • Comfortable working in a role that will evolve from primarily development into a combination of application management, integrations, reporting, ETL/data work, and continued development.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical decisions and collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and support enterprise applications using C#/.NET and Entity Framework.
  • Design, build, and support integrations between applications using different technology stacks and database platforms.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, interfaces, ETL processes, and data workflows supporting data movement between enterprise systems.
  • Write and troubleshoot SQL queries and work with large datasets across multiple relational database technologies.
  • Support data migration, transformation, conversion, and ETL initiatives, including movement of data between applications and datastores.
  • Provide production application support, including break/fix troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, enhancements, deployments, upgrades, and issue resolution.
  • Support application modernization, migrations, and broader application lifecycle initiatives.
  • Work across both Microsoft and non-Microsoft technologies as required by different applications, integrations, and data sources.
  • Support reporting and analytics needs as the team's application portfolio and responsibilities evolve.
  • Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and vendors to gather requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement application and integration changes.
  • Cross-train across applications and technologies to provide flexible support as the role evolves.
  • Create and maintain technical, integration, and operational documentation.
