Senior Analytics Engineer

  • We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to lead our analytics infrastructure and help transform data into meaningful business insights. This role combines data engineering, analytics, and AI-powered problem-solving to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
  • You'll work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, Finance, Customer Success, and Leadership to build reliable data solutions, automate reporting, and uncover insights that drive business growth.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data architectures.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain our analytics platform using Google BigQuery, dbt, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Develop scalable data models and semantic layers that serve as the organization's trusted source of truth.
  • Build interactive dashboards and self-service reporting using Looker Studio.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
  • Analyze customer acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, churn, revenue, and operational performance to identify trends and business opportunities.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and documentation through testing, monitoring, and validation.
  • Optimize pipelines and queries for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Build and maintain automated deployment workflows (CI/CD) for analytics and data products.
  • Troubleshoot data issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve analytics, reporting, forecasting, and business decision-making.
  • Promote analytics best practices and foster a data-driven culture across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Required
  • 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or a similar role.
  • Advanced SQL and Python skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience building data transformation workflows using dbt.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Cloud Composer.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and modern analytics architecture.
  • Experience developing dashboards and reports using Looker Studio or similar BI platforms.
  • Experience designing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Strong query optimization, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience working with subscription, SaaS, or e-learning businesses.
  • Experience integrating data from platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Stripe, HubSpot, Thinkific, ActiveCampaign, or similar SaaS applications.
  • Experience analyzing customer lifecycle metrics including CAC, LTV, retention, churn, and recurring revenue.
  • Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with real-time data pipelines or streaming technologies.
  • Experience using AI-powered analytics, machine learning, or generative AI to automate reporting, generate insights, improve forecasting, or enhance business decision-making is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies to improve analytics workflows and productivity.
