Senior Analytics Consultant

Claims Analytics, Payment Integrity & Regulatory Analytics

  • Rate: Up to $70/hour
  • Location: US remote
  • Contract Type: 6 month contract

Overview

  • We are seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant to support a healthcare analytics program focused on claims analytics, payment integrity reporting, regulatory compliance, and AI-enabled analytics. This individual will work directly with business and operational leaders to design, develop, and enhance reporting capabilities that improve payment accuracy, support recovery efforts, and strengthen compliance oversight.
  • This role requires a strong blend of healthcare domain expertise, hands-on analytics skills, and stakeholder-facing consulting experience. The successful candidate will be expected to lead analytics initiatives, advise stakeholders, and help shape future-state analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define reporting needs.
  • Lead development of Power BI dashboards and operational reporting solutions.
  • Analyze claims, provider, member, encounter, and policy data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Support payment integrity, recovery, and claims accuracy initiatives.
  • Design scalable and reusable analytics products and KPI frameworks.
  • Develop SQL and Databricks-based reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Support regulatory, compliance, and audit reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to AI-enabled analytics capabilities including natural language querying and semantic search.
  • Help design L1/L2 analytical data models and governed reporting environments.
  • Present findings and recommendations to executive and operational stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of healthcare analytics, claims analytics, BI, or consulting experience.
  • Extensive experience working with U.S. health plan claims data.
  • Advanced Power BI development experience.
  • Strong SQL skills and data modelling experience.
  • Experience supporting payment integrity, recovery, or claims operations.
  • Experience partnering directly with senior business stakeholders.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled analytics, natural language query tools, or semantic search solutions.
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills.

Preferred

  • Databricks experience.
  • Healthcare consulting background.
