  • About the Role
  • We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Strategic Sourcing – Marketing to support sourcing initiatives across Creative Production and Experiential Events categories. This role is ideal for a sourcing professional with deep expertise in creative production procurement who can independently manage sourcing projects, negotiate complex commercial agreements, and build strong stakeholder partnerships from day one.
  • The successful candidate will leverage market intelligence, spend analysis, and supplier management expertise to drive cost optimization, improve vendor performance, and maximize marketing investment ROI.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing & Category Strategy
  • Support and execute sourcing strategies across Creative Production and Experiential Events categories.
  • Conduct spend analysis, supply market assessments, and competitive evaluations to identify sourcing opportunities.
  • Develop data-driven business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support sourcing decisions.
  • Partner with category leaders and stakeholders to implement sourcing initiatives and achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to inform category strategies.
  • Contracting & Agency Management
  • Lead and support competitive sourcing events, including RFXs, RFPs, and supplier evaluations.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, including:
  • Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
  • Rate cards
  • Retainer agreements
  • Manage negotiations with creative agencies, production vendors, experiential marketing suppliers, venues, staffing partners, and logistics providers.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals, pricing structures, and commercial terms.
  • Cost Benchmarking & Production Consultancy Support
  • Partner with third-party production cost consultants to review bids and benchmark pricing.
  • Analyze production costs and vendor submissions to ensure competitive pricing and value realization.
  • Support bid review processes and cost optimization initiatives across creative and production engagements.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive vendor performance management and support achievement of category performance targets.
  • Lead implementation planning and change management activities for sourcing initiatives.
  • Communicate sourcing recommendations and project updates effectively to leadership and business partners.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in:
  • Strategic sourcing
  • Marketing procurement
  • Marketing management consulting
  • Supply chain or related fields
  • At least 4 years of direct, hands-on experience supporting Creative and Production categories.
  • Proven ability to independently manage end-to-end sourcing initiatives.
  • Experience conducting spend analysis and supply market assessments.
  • Strong experience leading or supporting:
  • RFX processes
  • Supplier selection
  • Contract negotiations
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating with:
  • Creative agencies
  • Production vendors
  • Experiential event suppliers
  • Expertise in commercial models including:
  • Firm bid
  • Cost-plus
  • Hourly rate cards
  • Retainer structures
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting marketing-related categories, specifically:
  • Creative Production
  • Experiential Events
  • Supplier performance management experience.
  • Change management experience.
  • Advanced Excel, reporting, and data analysis capabilities.
  • Experience in matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Familiarity with industry organizations such as:
  • ANA
  • WFA
  • AICP
  • AICE
  • Experience using SOW and contract management tools.
  • Exposure to production cost consultancy, bid reviews, and creative production benchmarking processes.
  • What Success Looks Like
  • The ideal candidate will bring deep subject matter expertise in creative production sourcing and quickly provide operational leadership to help alleviate team bandwidth constraints. You will be expected to independently manage complex sourcing initiatives, navigate specialized contract frameworks, build trusted stakeholder relationships, and deliver measurable cost savings and supplier performance improvements from day one.
