Senior Analyst โ Corporate Financing
- ๐ Location: Rockville, MD or Tysons, VA (Hybrid โ 3 days onsite, strong preference for Rockville)
- Are you passionate about financial markets, capital formation, and regulatory compliance? We are seeking a Senior Analyst โ Corporate Financing to join a dynamic team responsible for reviewing public offerings and private placement filings to help protect investors and maintain market integrity.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in finance, economics, accounting, business, or legal/regulatory compliance who enjoy analytical work, reviewing complex transactions, and collaborating with attorneys, investment firms, and internal stakeholders.
- What You'll Do
- Review and analyze Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) and private placement filings submitted by broker-dealer firms.
- Assess filings for compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify potential risks, deficiencies, and rule violations through detailed analysis.
- Draft professional correspondence, findings, and regulatory analyses.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding filing reviews.
- Participate in discussions with attorneys and industry professionals regarding transaction filings.
- Monitor assigned workflow to ensure timely completion of reviews.
- Escalate complex regulatory matters when appropriate.
- Stay current on applicable securities regulations and capital formation rules.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives, process improvements, and data analytics projects.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience in finance, capital markets, compliance, regulatory, legal, accounting, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong time management and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
