  • Role Description The Senior Analyst, Business Development is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, United States. This role supports the identification, evaluation, and development of strategic growth initiatives across CUIMC’s clinical, research, and educational programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market trends, financial performance, and operational data; preparing reports, presentations, and dashboards; and supporting business cases for new services, partnerships, and initiatives. The Senior Analyst collaborates with leadership and cross-functional teams to assess opportunities, model scenarios, and track performance against strategic goals. The role also involves maintaining organized project documentation, coordinating timelines and deliverables, and contributing to continuous improvement of analytical and planning processes.
  • Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with data analysis, financial modeling, and performance measurement.
  • Proficiency with business tools such as spreadsheets, presentation software, and data visualization or business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience in business development, strategic planning, or healthcare administration, preferably in an academic medical center or complex health system.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, presentations, and executive summaries.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Understanding of healthcare delivery, reimbursement, and regulatory considerations is highly beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to equity, inclusion, and respectful workplace practices.
