- Key Responsibilities
- Support actuarial analysis and reporting across property & casualty insurance portfolios.
- Assist with pricing, reserving, forecasting, and profitability analysis initiatives.
- Analyze trends, claims experience, and business performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain actuarial models, tools, and reports.
- Collaborate with underwriting, finance, risk, and business teams on various projects.
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Prepare presentations and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of actuarial experience within the P&C insurance industry.
- Progress toward ACAS, FCAS, ACIA, or FCIA designation preferred.
- Experience with actuarial modelling and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel; exposure to programming tools such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, or VBA is an asset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
