The Opportunity In this role, you will lead high-impact P&C risk monitoring, rate revision strategies, and portfolio profitability analysis. You will collaborate directly with actuarial leaders, data teams, and IT executives to turn complex data assets into actionable underwriting models and regulatory filings.

- Key Responsibilities
- P&C Actuarial Pricing: Apply exposure and experience rating techniques, build loss cost models, and lead rate revisions, indications, and monitoring.
- Predictive Modeling: Build and deploy advanced statistical models using Python, R, SAS, and Excel.
- Regulatory & Filing Execution: Conduct competitor research, compile filing exhibits, manage rate dislocations, and maintain strict internal QC.
- Data & Infrastructure Strategy: Partner with IT/Data teams to define data mart requirements for pricing, rating, and loss development workflows.
- Leadership & Influence: Translate complex technical/actuarial findings into strategic insights for senior executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, or Statistics; active exam progress (ASA or FSA designation preferred).
- Core Expertise: Deep background in Property & Casualty actuarial pricing and large-scale dataset analysis (policy, claims, external data).
- Technical Toolkit: Advanced proficiency in Python, R, SAS, and Excel.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid foundation in insurance rate filings, state regulations, and compliance frameworks.
